IMHO, "cvs unedit" should not be reverting the file at
all since:
1. The copy reverted to is the one stored when "cvs
edit" was done.  This would include any modifications
already done and one would have to have a pretty good
memory to remember exactly what changes there were
when they emitted the "cvs edit" command.
2. "cvs update -C" already gives one a clean copy.

For those interested, there's a patch at SourceForge
under project RCVS that removes this feature (and, as
a side effect greatly cleans up the code since this
feature makes it necessary to break some modularity).
