Oh, I see. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

I don't think you can do what you want directly - I believe the .cvsignore
is simply a wildcard matching format (as opposed to a regular expression).

Hmmm... can you configure your compiler to place those binary files in a
specific directory, then ignore the directory? 

By the way, am I correct in presuming that specifying each file to ignore
would be too tedious?
