FTP or HTTP Repository

Hello all,

I have been looking how to set up a cvs repository on my webspace via
ftp or http (or any other method for that matter), but can't seem to
find anything.  Can anybody of you help me out?

What I want to do is set up a repository in a private directory of my
website, so that I can upate and commit from any computer with access
to the internet (like from home and from work).  Note that I have to
use the facilities of my ISP, I cannot set up my private server.

Is this possible with cvs?  If so, how do I do it and where can I find
documentation?  If not, is there another vesrion control system that
can do it?
