Tagging problem in CVS - weird filenames

Hi All:

When I tag all the files in the CVS repository, I get the following messages 
in the CVS mailer log:

CVS Server: DEVSERVER1
CVSROOT: /mydevdir
Module: dev
Date of tag: 2005-02-10 10:29:01
Tagged by: manjinder
Tag type: add
Tag name: s1-0-1

When I commit any changes to any file, the cvs mailer log comes out 
perfectly fine.

Any ideas? Your help is greatly appreciated.
