The second one, ^foo$, worked for me, for both rcsinfo and verifymsg (I
didn't try the other two syntaxes).
What version of CVS are you running? ('cvs version' shows this info).
What happens if you add an entry for foo2?
(BTW, my bone-headed ISP actually tries to deliver email to example.com,
then sends me a timeout notification - could you try using '@invalid'
instead?)
