This is not the wincvs newsgroup, and the SJIS version of WinCVS and SJIS CVSNT
(which WinCVS uses for the actual versioning) were never a part of the "core"
projects.

At the CVSNT project we are incorporating all the SJIS changes into the core
project. Try CVSNT 2.5.03 with either your current WinCVS SJIS or the
"standard" WinCVS distribution. We have specifically tested SJIS filenames and
files with that release and it works for us - but we're not Japanese.

Download the latest CVSNT from here:
http://march-hare.com/cvspro/

Report any problems you have here:
http://www.cvsnt.org/pipermail/cvsnt/

The WinCVS newsgroup is here:

Arthur Barrett

Hi,all.
I am running a cvs pserver in a gnu/linux box.And some one need to access
the cvs repository from a MS windows machine.
Though, there are a lot of Windows cvs clients, most of them do not
support or badly support Janpanese code converting from SJIS(MS windows) to
EUC_jp(Linux) or otherwise.
Currently,I am using WinCvs1.2 --Japanese Customerised Version. It is too
old and has a lot of problems. So I wonder if there is a better one be able
to substitute it.
