Neti,

This is most likely to happen if you are using CVSNT on the client and
have the repository on a Windows server (again in CVSNT).

The CVSNT newsgroup is the place to ask in that case:
http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt
or
news://news.cvsnt.org/support.cvsnt

The short answer is to use the CVSNT unix client and the rename command.

Regards,

Arthur Barrett

Subject: Case Sensitivity Problem

All,

I am working in a mixed UNIX/PC environment and have run into some
problems with case sensitivity in filenames. There are several files
that need to be modified so that they check out with the correct
filename (e.g. MixedCase instead of MIXEDCase). The problem is when I
modify the filename on my PC, CVS does not even recognize it as
different.

I though perhaps modifying the filename manually in the repository
itself may work. Any ideas how I can fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help!
Neti
