The GNU Chess makefile does not utilize profile guided optimizations. I've
discovered that a combination of -O3 and gcc PGO can make an executable that
is 18.5% faster in i686 systems.
Anyone here interested in my script that does this automatically without
altering the 5.07 distribution files, just email me.

P.S. I'd be interested if anyone has experimented with STATIC builds and/or
monolithic source/include optimized builds.
