Hi all,

as you know, the GNU Project experienced some trouble due to a
Savannah break-in towards the end of 2003. Among the services offline
was the Brave GNU World web page, which became unmaintainable.

Thanks to the work of the GNU Savannah volunteers and FSF staff in
Boston, the Brave GNU World web page became maintainable again and the
Brave GNU World volunteers managed to put issues #54-57 online.

Right now they are only available in English only -- partially for
lack of translation, partially for lack of publication -- but for
those who read the column in English, there is now plenty to read for
the weekend.

You can find them via the Brave GNU World web page at

 http://brave-gnu-world.org

or by following these links:

 * Brave GNU World issue #54:
   http://brave-gnu-world.org/issue-54.en.html

 * Brave GNU World issue #55:
   http://brave-gnu-world.org/issue-55.en.html

 * Brave GNU World issue #56:
   http://brave-gnu-world.org/issue-56.en.html

 * Brave GNU World issue #57:
   http://brave-gnu-world.org/issue-57.en.html

The issues feature the UN World Summit on the Information Society,
Free Software in Science, Free Documentation & Publishing, a view on
the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) and several projects, such
as Simple Security Policy Editor, Screenhack, JaxoDraw and Mom.

Regards,
Georg
