Version 0.8 of GNU ed released

I am pleased to announce the release of GNU ed 0.8.

GNU ed is an 8-bit clean, more or less POSIX-compliant implementation of
the standard Unix line editor.

The homepage is at http://www.gnu.org/software/ed/ed.html

The sources can be dowloaded from http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/ed/ or from
your favorite GNU mirror.

The md5sum is:

This release is also GPG signed. You can download the signature by
appending ".sig" to the URL.

Changes in version 0.8:

  * Testsuite now exits unsuccesfully in case of error.

  * Some minor problems in the manual page have been fixed.

  * 21kB of legalese have been added to the info file (gfdl).
