yes, I mistaked since I first installed emacs before xemacs and I mix up
archives ;)

after having entered by chance, the menu option/edit Init File, it was said
to me that "my .xemacs/init.el doesn't exist", so I read again the 3.2.
point in the faq http://my.gnus.org/faq/html-nochunks/ ( dealing with the
HOME env variable ) and I realized my variable was not set.



After setting it properly, xemacs gnus worked properly ! :))
