I guess I had hoped that the nnoo approach would delete and replace an
article when a backend didn't support direct editing.  I don't know
enough about the internals, but maybe it would just be a few lines of
code, combining `e' with `B m'?  Marks should be propagated, but I think
`B m' already does this.
