When I do what I descibed, I get one file.
Maybe I should show some screenshots, so we are sure that I have
described what I do clearly.
(First, I send myself an email with a large attachment, which Gnus asked
if it should split, and and said yes).
Now, if I read one of the emails, it looks like this:
* http://koldfront.dk/misc/gnus/multipart1.png
Then I middle-click on the [1. message/partial]... button, and get:
* http://koldfront.dk/misc/gnus/multipart2.png
And finally I right click on the [2. image/jpeg; dsc_9957.jpg]... button
and choose "Save":
* http://koldfront.dk/misc/gnus/multipart3.png
The single file saved, dsc_9957.jpg, is the parts from the 8 emails
combined and unpacked by Gnus.
Does this resemble the steps you took, and where did the behaviour differ?
Best regards,
Adam
