mail splitting problem

Maybe since me latest emacs upgrade (GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1) mail splitting
does not work anymore. 
~/.gnus.el contains these lines:

(setq
 nnimap-split-rule 'nnimap-split-fancy
 nnimap-split-predicate "UNDELETED"
 nnimap-split-inbox "INBOX"
 nnimap-split-fancy '(|
                      (any "address@hidden" "daily/issa")
                      (: spam-split)
                      ;; default mailbox
                      "INBOX"))

Neither the sender address nor the name of the mail box have change. In
fact nothing has changed  at all besides the the emacs upgrade.
