Procedure:

1. Launch Gnus dev => no connection to company mail server (imap), well to
   newsgroups... this is the described situation

2. Quit Gnus

3. Eval the above sexpr, resulting in:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
Mark set [2 times]
Opening connection to mail.company.com via tls...
Opening TLS connection to `mail.company.com'...
Opening TLS connection with `gnutls-cli --insecure -p imaps
mail.company.com'...failed
Opening TLS connection with `gnutls-cli --insecure -p imaps mail.company.com
--protocols ssl3'...failed
Opening TLS connection with `openssl s_client -connect mail.company.com:imaps
-no_ssl2 -ign_eof'...failed
Opening TLS connection to `mail.company.com'...failed
Error: wrong-number-of-arguments; Data: (nil 0)
Mark set [2 times]
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

4. Activate debugs:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
   (setq debug-on-error t
         debug-on-signal t
         debug-on-quit t)
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

5. Eval the above sexpr, resulting in backtrace:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---

  signal(wrong-number-of-arguments (nil 0))
