hey,

something which may deserve some explaination, is the scan information
data checks added in this release; I've taken a close look at the
IEC62107, and I'm quite sure to get it right, but actually I haven't
come across any mpeg2 stream which does follow the correct scan
information data format (which is, quoting the specs 'The Sector
Offset value is encoded as a six-digit BCD number (mm:ss:ff)...', I'm
sure you will see what I mean when you'll build your next SVCD with
vcdimager) It's nothing to be really worried about... since in the
past vcdimager didn't do any better job than now, only that now you
get at least some warnings, that your mpeg encoder didn't make the
stream compliant ;-) remember, vcdimager does NOT modify the mpeg
stream, except for padding it, which is a bad idea anyway.

As in the past, if there's something that doesn't work, please
report... and remember, it's not even beta yet ;-), i.e. 'vcddebug'
your .bin files before burning 'em!! -- and take a close look at the
WARNings and DEBUG messages...
