Look at the RECORD extension docs:

  http://www.x.org/docs/Xext/record.pdf

in those documents you can see how the data you receive from the X
server (using the RECORD extension) looks like. That data is managed in
the file I've told you about before (xnee_record.c). I guess you have to
take it from here
