[Invoke-dev] new tty reference code--

Hello,

I'll be testing a new version of the threading code in the final
function of invoke.  I'm not putting it into CVS until I get a useful
response on my development machine.

If anyone would like the new patches, please let me know.  When I do
not get SEGV's from the new stuff, it will go into CVS.
