[kmldonkey] SuSE 9.0 and KMLDonkey

Can anyone help me with setting up KMLD with SuSE 9.0 firewall.
"Connection refused" is the message i get when trying to connect to core 
server. Can someone also explain the logic of this file sharing client..i 
mean..i't not as simple as apollon, yet not so complicated as dc :)
