Summary: Acquisitions functionality creep - On Purpose?
Product: Koha
Version: 2.2.0
Platform: PC
URL: http://yourkoha/cgi-
bin/koha/acqui/basket.pl?supplierid=5
OS/Version: Windows 2000
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Acquisitions (Full)
AssignedTo: address@hidden

The specification from HLT for Normal Acquisitions was that all new titles must
be searched for before you can add a new biblio - that there should be no
shortcuts or work arounds that let you add a new biblio without doing a
catalogue search first.
There is now a short cut in normal acquisitions (MARC Off) - on the basket page
you can not search the catalogue by clicking on "New Biblio" and go straight to
http://xxx/cgi-bin/koha/acqui/newbiblio.pl?booksellerid=5&basketno=
So that you add a new biblio without doing a search.
So my question is
- was that link added on purpose?
We'll take it off our templates, but I'd like it taken off all the templates as
it "breaks" the idea of Normal Acquisitions - which is to be strict - and if
it's not taken off we have to do it every time we upgrade etc which is a bit of
a pain.
