A few of my clients have noticed that when editing an item, a previous value in
a plugin field is not editable and is removed when editing. This is a problem
for some marc21 plugins like 'barcode.pl' and 'usmarc_field_952v.pl' (for
acquisition date) as the values are lost. Also, they have requested the ability
to manually edit those fields. I have fixed this in the LibLime version of
additem.pl and would be willing to commit my fix to rel_2_2 if everyone agrees
