Such patches are useless if you don't go all the way. I have planned to
work on it, but it will only come as a whole package, not in bits and
pieces. It will also involve some rewrite of the existing interfaces.
__GNU_LIBL4__ is useless. Either you write for the official ABI/API which
we should support fully, or you don't, and then you require GNU libl4, which
can be checked for by checking for any of its interfaces.
