JACK Snaphot?
To take this idea a little further (over the edge): what about
"JACK Audio Setup Snapshot" or short JACKASS. Any good?
as an additional bonus, this has some logo potential with a cuteness
coefficient on par with tux.
btw, while browsing a dictionary i also found "laughing jackass", which
i'm told is an australian species of kingfisher, aka kookaburra. see
http://aviary.owls.com/kookaburra/kookaburra.html for a picture.
with some artistic liberties in letter ordering, this could be expanded to
LA G
U NG
HI J
AC
K
A
SS
:
linux audio grand unified next generation hook-up infrastructure for
jack and alsa sequencer snapshots.
i must say i rather like it :-D
