As you may know, the 1.3 branch of libtool is dead, and ve are on the
brink of releasing 1.4 (as soon as I address the last few problems and
clear my patch queue), so I have tried to port your patch forward to
the current CVS HEAD and multi-language (to be 1.5 eventually)
branches.

Please let me know if this doesn't work for you, so hopefully we can
have Darwin support working by the time the release comes around.
