It was a patch, but not a formal patch with ChangeLog entry. I did
test the patch which was posted on March 31, and it worked.  I assume
that Peter O'Gorman is working on creating a jumbo patch which
includes the patch he already posted, along with using file for more
portability across Darwin versions.
