Sure it does!  You asked me to get a new MUA... this is it ;-)

Historically, libtool developers always commit with ./commit from the root
of the libtool source tree.

Recently, savannah stopped sending mail to address@hidden, and Bob
suggested we tweak libtool's commit script to do it instead (since we all use
that to do the actual commit).

I simply pulled across the latest version of clcommit from cvs-utils HEAD, and
added the mailnotify script I wrote to do the commit notifications (also
developed in cvs-utils),

It is arguable whether either of these two files belong in the distribution,
but we have always shipped commit, and our users should have easy access to
all the paraphernalia libtool developers use (eg maintainer rules for
uploading release tarballs) as a learning aid, or for use in their own
projects... even if they don't have cvs access.
