The fix turned out to be pretty simple, I've just committed
libtool--gary--1.0--patch-34. Not tested on a linux box, but
by inspection does the right thing in dependency_libs in libltdl.la.
Let me know if this doesn't fix it. I'll try and roll the alpha
tomorrow night (GMT) if you don't tell me that it's still broken :-)
