With OS-X Leopard PowerPC:

but with FreeBSD 8.0:

I found that the file tests/testsuite.log was from a very old run.  So 
I removed the build tree and did everything from scratch.  No 
tests/testsuite.log file was produced.  This similar failure was 
counted three times:

FAIL: tests/depdemo-make.test
FAIL: tests/depdemo-make.test
FAIL: tests/depdemo-make.test
