Howdy all!
On AIX (but not on Linux or Sun), I am running into a problem with
building my library.
My library is built in a number of directories, as convenience
libraries. Then all piled together in the main directory.
When I run on AIX, unless I used --disable-shared, the link fails,
because it can't find the contents of one of the convenience
libraries.
If I --disable-shared, everything works fine. (Well, not exactly
fine. But it moves on to the next bug in my configuration, at least.)
I am just starting to investigate this, but if anyone has a ready-made
answer, that would be wonderful!
Thanks!
Ed
PS - I'm using libtool version 1.9f.
