Currently, I've installed mftrace 1.0.12 (and still pktrace 1.0.4).
The configure script (via autogen.sh) reports:
ERROR: Please install required programs:
pktrace >= 1.0.17 (installed: 1.0.4)
which is *very* misleading IMHO to Joe User.
