I've got no ambition to become release meister. But you might be
sorry for tempting my nit-pickyness ;-) Mwmahahahahaaaa
I like having procedures that can be improved or fixed, esp. because
the 2.4 cycle was haunted by number of annoying hickups; missing
ChangeLog markers (interesting, I've made `make release' automagically
fix that or fail), missing tags, differences between CVS-VERSION and
tarball, patches in CVS not in tarball and vice versa I think.
