I guess someone should take upon the task of finding a new maintainer. 
It would mean writing a call-for-help, which we can post to various 
lists and put up at LilyPond.org.

Pedro,  I was thinking of you specifically (being our Build-meister), 
but maybe someone else is willing to do it ?
