Umm. Python is *not* GPL. In particular, subprocess.py is *not* GPL. We
first had to get the permission to redistribute it from the author. The
file itself says
# Licensed to PSF under a Contributor Agreement.
# See http://www.python.org/2.4/license for licensing details.
