Graham, you wrote

There's two months left in GDP. I'd like to reserve one month for
final clean-up and whatnot, so that leaves one month for the bulk
of the work.

Here's my list of what I'm hoping people to finish in July. If you
don't think you can accomplish it, let me know; I should be able to
shift some people around to cover things. A few sections are very
close to being finished, so those helpers could help other sections in
the second half of the month.

Carl: review NR 1+2 sections as needed, Chords, Rhythms.
Trevor: NR 3, LM 5, any updates to LM 3-4.

LM 5 is not in too bad a shape. 5.3 could be improved/extended quite a bit, but otherwise it looks OK. LM 3 is pretty well done. I've a number of comments on LM 4 to deal with, but
that's only a few days work, and not absolutely
essential for 2.12. I might defer some of this.

NR 5 is the big problem, but you don't mention
it. Some sections here are going to be tricky to write, and there is a lot of it. My plan is
to start by fixing all the FIXMEs and TODOs so
it is at least presentable. That should make it
acceptable for 2.12. Improvements can be made
during 2.13.

I think I can do this by end-Aug (but not by
end-July) provided I can leave any detailed
formatting stuff for someone else to tidy up.
By this I mean inserting index entries, refs
to relevant stuff elsewhere, looking out
snippets, etc. Things that are useful but not
absolutely essential.

Patrick: Expressive.
Ralph: Repeats.
Francisco: Simultaneous.
Till: Staff.
Valentin: Text, LSR as needed.
Neil: LSR as needed, \markup, extra technical stuff.
Kurt: Glossary support. (I don't expect Ancient to be finished)
Andrew: Keyboards.
Jonathan: Fretted strings.
Stefan: Percussion.
John + Reinhold: make texi2html output the default.

This leaves three sections untouched: Vocal, Unfretted strings,
Wind. Hopefully these can be filled by people who finish their
current sections in the next week or two.

Cheers,
- Graham

Trevor
