Gardner Read give an example of a Harp pedal diagram in his book (p. 325), 
which is asymmetric, but the divider is still not exactly in the middler 
(though it's almost in the middle)

That can be easily added. The question is how to encode this in the definition 
string... How about adding an 'o' before the corresponding pedal, i.e.
\harp-pedal #"^vo-|^-o--"
