Hi Laura,

it's a Longa with the cropped stem that makes it to appear as a breve.
Change g,\longa to

   <g, g,>\longa

and the stem appears (the lower g still is cropped)

It is a problem of generating a PNG not tall enough to contain all
that is drawn. Solution? I don't know, but at least it appears to me
easier than before.
