Looks ok to me, although I haven't tried committing it.

Let's push it and move on to trying it out.  That
might generate more comment.

BTW, I don't see these (old) \paper block variables in
the IR.  Are they not there or have I missed them?
It would be useful for anyone starting to adjust
these to know what the default values are, or maybe
more accurately how they are derived.
