I don't have a better suggestion right now, but _notes_ are always
mono/homophonic. Voices, or voicings, or passages or pieces or
composition styles are mostly homo/polyphonic.
For example, a Bach "choral" will usually be set in a homophonic style,
whereas something he marks "chorus" will tend to be largely polyphonic.
