Sounds too loaded for me, carries the connotation "though there would
have been reason for it". I currently have
comment = "Patchy the autobot sees nothing wrong. " + reason,
At some loss of anthropomorphism, "Patchy's autobot tests passed. "
would seem a bit more on spot, "Patchy the autobot's tests passed. "
is closer in spirit to the original, but the grammar is a bit harder to
parse.
