regarding:

  /home/dev/gub/target/linux-x86/root/lib/libc.so.6: 
    undefined reference to address@hidden'

This doesn't look like a problem with guile – at least I can't see a
problem in the log file.  I rather believe it is a problem with
compilation of `ldtl', which references the wrong `libc.so.6' version
(perhaps `target' instead of `linux-x86').
