Help a beginner!

What am I doing wrong? I've managed to download LilyPond 2.0.1 through Fink
(3 nights - 56K modem...) I also downloaded the PDF-manual, and tried to
follow the instructions in section 2.2 "Running LilyPond", to view the
output. I made a text-file in BBEdit, saved it and ran ¹lilypond test.ly¹ in
a new Terminal-window. This is the result:

How do I make LilyPond find the file? I'm on MacOSX 10.3.2.
