Thanks to all for the replies,
I still think that lily is fantastic (more: I' m forced to use it 
because of the way I compose) but when you have to tweak some 
properties it's complicated to access to information.

I'm guessing that my request may be not so uncommon.
Can I suggest to add it to manual, chap. 6, Basic notation,  6.5.3. 
Dynamics?

Taking a look there there's no section: Commonly tweaked properties.
