remove empty staves

Hi all,

I am using

 \RemoveEmptyStaffContext

to remove empty staves. This works for all lines except the first line, where it shows three lines of empty bars (vocal canonic music). How can I get this first line to also remove empty staves. I am using using Lilypond version 2.11.37.
