Dear list,
I will be doing my thesis (a transcription of eighteenth-century
keyboard music) all with lilypond. I am also contracting with a music
publisher to have it published. Since this publisher lets the editor
(me) do all the layout I am pressing them to do the book all in
lilypond. AFAIK they do not have a "real" house style, and every
editor adopts his style in his edition (quite unprofessional, I
know...)
So I am wondering: has anyone experience in publishing his works
trough a professional publisher? Does anyone have tips on pagination,
layout, margins, etc... for a "real" printed book?

Thanks!

Rodolfo

Not that I know of. But considering François-Xavier also speaks French
and English, that will hardly be a problem :)

And apparently Norwegian as well. Jeez. I barely speak English and
that's the language I grew up with. I feel inadequate.

Dear Rodolfo

I am writing a thesis too. I had so many difficulties  mixing text and music that I decided to create "Lilypond Encyclopedia". It will be soon finished. If think I will translate it into Spanish and maybe, you could afterwards tell me if it's ok …

Hello Ralph,

thank you for your enthusiasm. To learn a language, it must be translated. OK, you convinced me: tomorrow I start a  Spanish and an English contribution  ... but of course, Ralph, I count on your help to correct my
syntax and spelling mistakes

You soon
