That way lies madness. Please don't use floating point values for what
is required to match _exactly_.
That also means that

is the _wrong_ goal to try making work. _If_ at all, you should be
aiming for
\set TabStaff.stringTunings = #'(3 -1 -11/2 -11 -15 -21)
