Had my morning coffee and this is now beginning to make more sense. The man page might phrase it more like "Use -dhelp for a listing of available symbols". Otherwise just dispense with the word help and list the symbols right in the man page.

     Use -dhelp for help
part, but you're still asking how to use it.
