ok- thanks. When I copy& paste some code from my email client, which is "Mail" on Mac OS 10.6.4, I also tried "Thunderbird" -same Problem, into jedit/Lilypondtool or Fraise aka Smultron, the indention of the code always produces errors and I have to tweak every line manually- very annoing. Is this a known mac os bug?
I only have this problem when I copy anything with a '>>' in the ly file from my mail client (Thunderbird - on windows or mac and Mail.app on mac) as it treats the '>>' as if it was a pasted reply and for some reason omits them when I paste them into LilyPad (the inbuilt mac editor) or notepad (which is what I use when I edit in Windows).
