I have read this - well most of this section before, but when I try it I still get the same results. Perhaps someone could help me out a little, please?

On 2.13.58, the \override VerticalAxizGroup #'minimum-Y-extent command is no
longer used to control spacing.

variables (Notation Reference 4.4.1).

There is an example there that shows how to center lyrics between staves.
