The command \once \override Staff.BassFigureAlignmentPositioning
#'direction = #CENTER gives a log-warning (but worked in 2.12.3):

programming error: direction unknown, but aligned-side wanted
continuing, cross fingers

If noone objects I delete this command from the file.
