Hi Karlin,

Thanks for the compliment. I take great pride in the visual appearance of my
music — it’s nice to know that my efforts are appreciated by others.

The piece I’m engraving right now — under pressure of a fast-approaching
deadline (seemingly as always!?) — is a wind ensemble piece with almost 50
individual parts (6 clarinets, 2 bass clarinets, 3 flutes, 4 horns, etc.). Horn
I (e.g.) has some dynamics which are “shared” (read: simultaneously identical)
with other Horn parts, but also has dynamics unique to its own part; the
complexity of putting the shared dynamics in some variable and either \tag-ging
out or simultaneous-ing in the individual dynamics would be inelegant to the
point of insanity.
But many thanks for the response!
Kieren.
